Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DMG AI ("we", "us") collects when you use dmg.hugin.in, and how it's used, stored, and protected. It's written in plain language rather than dense legal text; if you have questions, reach us at dmgsupport@hugin.in.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (handled by Supabase Auth — we never see or store your raw password).
• Business inputs: the business details, target audience, budget, and preferences you enter into the strategy wizard.
• Generated content: the marketing strategies, AI-generated expansions, and manual edits associated with your account.
• Uploaded files: documents or images you upload (PDF, DOCX, PPT, XLSX, CSV, TXT, or images) for AI analysis, and your profile photo if you set one.
• Usage data: AI credit balance and the history of AI actions you've taken, so we can show you accurate usage.
• Billing data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled directly by Razorpay — we store only the resulting subscription status and invoice references, never your card or bank details.

How we use it

Your business inputs and uploaded files are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate your marketing strategy and power AI actions (Generate More, Regenerate, Improve, Rewrite, competitor lookups, and similar features). We use your data only to provide and improve the product for you — we do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data to train third-party AI models.

Where it's stored

All account and strategy data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security), scoped so that only your authenticated account can read or write your own rows. Uploaded files and profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for everything sent to and from DMG AI.

Your rights

• You can review and edit your strategies at any time from your dashboard.
• You can export your data (PDF, Word, Markdown, JSON) from any strategy's Export menu.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Account Settings — this action is immediate and irreversible.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it manually by emailing dmgsupport@hugin.in.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies Supabase Auth sets to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

As DMG AI adds features (like payments), this policy will be updated to reflect them, and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
